Rapid Recruitment for Migration Project

Introduction A North America-based insurance giant needed to hire 52 Business Analysts and 150 QA Testers for its migration project. The main objective was to fulfill these roles quickly to meet delivery deadlines and ensure the project stayed on track.

About the Client The client is a Fortune 100 health insurance provider in the US, one of the largest in the North American market. They provide services to customers across the country and have technology centers on the East Coast.

Challenge This was a migration project, and due to delays and budget overruns, the client was under pressure to fulfill the roles quickly to meet delivery deadlines. The resources needed to hit the ground running and required deep technology industry experience.

Solution We started by creating a comprehensive map of all technical Business Analysts and QA Testing professionals with healthcare experience in the India market. Then, focused pods were created to reach out, screen, and interview relevant candidates. The pipeline was broken into three layers based on the candidates’ notice periods:

  1. Immediately available candidates
  2. 30/45/60/90-day joiners

We prioritized interviewing the immediately available candidates first, followed by those with longer notice periods. After the Ingenium internal interviews, the client conducted two rounds of interviews before final shortlisting.

Result With this approach, we were able to close all of the client’s open roles, plus an additional 8 buffer positions, within 6 weeks. Our laser-focused efforts and emphasis on quality allowed us to present 540 candidates to the customer. After one week of interviews, due to the high quality of candidates, the client decided to reduce their process to just one interview following the internal interviews for final shortlisting.
