Increasing Hiring Velocity for a GCC

Introduction A Southeast Asian electronics giant has a captive center set up in Chennai. They were experiencing a surge in hiring demands and wanted to increase their hiring velocity.

About the Client The client is a Fortune 500 global electronics giant headquartered in Southeast Asia, with offices across the world and over 1000 employees.

Challenge The client wanted to hire candidates with high niche skills such as Flutter developers with API expertise, Node.js developers, Node + React full-stack developers, and React.js UI developers. Additionally, they needed these candidates to work from their Chennai center.

Solution We conducted a targeted mapping of resources in startups and small companies across India. Candidates from these organizations were technically hands-on and willing to relocate to work with a big-name brand like the client.

Result The strategy helped the client onboard 60 candidates in 1 year. Encouraged by this success, the client decided to open more headcount for such roles in the GCC.
